Rob Nissen

Before founding Nissen Public Relations in 2000, Rob worked at several major publishing houses including Times Books/Random House, Addison-Wesley, John Wiley & Sons, and The Free Press, where he promoted non-fiction titles in all categories and worked on a variety of publicity campaigns. He also recently served as Publicity Manager for the Business Plus imprint of Grand Central Publishing. Some of the many authors he has worked with include Tony Hsieh, Stanley Bing, Lois Frankel, Robert Sutton, Mike Krzyzewski (Coach K), Sandy Weill, John Dean, Liz Claman, Herb Cohen, Michael Eric Dyson, Lou Dobbs, John C. Maxwell, Penelope Trunk, Warren Bennis, Mark Crispin Miller, William Bennett, John C. Bogle, founder of Vanguard Group, Gordon Bethune, former CEO of Continental Airlines, Harry Beckwith, and numerous business leaders, consultants, academics, and historians. Focusing primarily on business, politics, biography, and current affairs, Rob works in all areas of book and author publicity including online/social media, print, radio, and television campaigns as well as arranging author signings and events.
He has worked on numerous New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and BusinessWeek bestselling books.

 

Samantha Dell’Olio — Publicity Manager

Samantha began her publishing career at Doubleday, an imprint of Random House Inc., where she led publicity campaigns for an array of award winning and New York Times bestselling books including the works of Tavis Smiley, Leigh Montville and Robert Crais. Most recently as a Senior Publicist at Penguin Young Readers Group, she was responsible for the promotion of the #1 New York Times bestselling Llama Llama series as well as national campaigns for various beloved authors and illustrators such as Tomie dePaola, Patricia Polacco and Brian Jacques. In addition to working on both fiction and non-fiction in the adult and children’s world, Samantha has also organized media and multi-city tours for many celebrity titles including those of Henry Winkler and Joy Behar.  Samantha, her husband and their baby daughter reside in New York City.
