Before founding the book publicity firm Nissen Public Relations, Rob Nissen worked as a book publicist for several major publishers including Times Books/Random House, Simon & Schuster, and John Wiley & Sons where he promoted nonfiction titles in all categories and worked on numerous book publicity and book marketing campaigns. He served as the head of business book publicity and lead business book publicist for the Business Plus imprint of Grand Central Publishing.
Some of the many authors he has worked with include Tony Hsieh, Stanley Bing, Lois Frankel, Mike Krzyzewski (Coach K), Robert Sutton, Daniel Levitin, Sanford Weill, Michael Eric Dyson, John C.
